Lifestyle

135 home entertainment system
Will my iPod or iPhone work with
the Lifestyle
®
135 home
entertainment system?
Yes. If your iPod can play video, it will work with the Lifestyle
®
135 system. The
included dock is both Made for iPod and Made for iPhone certified.
Can I expand the Lifestyle
®
135
home entertainment system to
deliver music throughout my
home?
Yes. The Lifestyle
®
135 system can be used as part of a Bose
®
whole-home solution.
It has Bose link output and input capabilities.
Will the Personal
®
music center II
remote control work with the
Lifestyle
®
135 system?
No. Customers expanding the Lifestyle
®
135 system into a multi-room solution
should use either the Personal
®
music center III or the RC-35S expansion remotes –
sold separately as accessories.
Does a Lifestyle
®
135 home
entertainment system support
high-definition audio found on
Blu-ray Disc
media?
Yes. The Lifestyle
®
135 system can decode both Dolby
®
TrueHD and uncompressed
multi-channel PCM. Uncompressed multi-channel PCM is an output format created
when Dolby TrueHD or DTS-MA is decoded by a Blu-ray Disc
player. While the
system can accept DTS Master Audio, Bose recommends that customers set their
Blu-ray Disc players to output PCM for both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA tracks.
This
allows any Blu-ray Disc player sound effect – such as when a menu appears or
disappears – to be reproduced by the system.
How do I program the remote
control for a device?
When the console is in setup mode, and you have elected to set up a device
remote, simply point the device remote at the console and press the buttons as
prompted via the onscreen display. The console compares the input with an internal
database. Once confirmed, the remote for the connected device will work with the
Lifestyle
®
135 system.
What is the USB port on the front
of the Lifestyle
®
control console
used for?
The USB port located on the front of the system can be used for viewing digital
photos from a USB drive. It also can be used to import software updates and the
latest remote control codes from Bose.
