Are RF bypass cables rated for in-
wall use?
No. To route a cable behind a wall, use the 1-meter bypass cable, 345328-0010,
and wall-rated 75-Ohm coaxial cable. Check your local building codes for the
correct type of cable required for in-wall installation.
What issues can arise when
operating a TV after placing a
Lifestyle
®
135 system in front of it?
There are two potential issues:
The TV does not respond to remote control commands because the speaker
array is blocking the TV’s IR sensor. To resolve, reposition the TV and speaker
array so the TV’s IR sensor is not blocked.
When viewing 3D content on a 3D TV, the picture may be blurry because
the speaker array is blocking the TV’s IR emitter. Many 3D TVs use IR to
synchronize the glasses with the screen, and IR requires a line of sight
between the emitter and the receiver. To resolve, reposition the TV and
speaker array so the TV’s IR emitter is not blocked.
Can the Lifestyle
®
135 speaker
array be wall-mounted?
Yes. A wall-mount kit is available from Bose and is sold separately as an accessory.
The Lifestyle
®
135 system features exclusive Bose
®
Flexmount
automatic placement
compensation technology that delivers a wide, natural sound stage, whether the
speaker array is wall-mounted or placed on a table.
Are the cables included with the
Bose
®
Lifestyle
®
135 system rated
for in-wall use?
No. Check your local building codes for the correct type of wire and cable required
for in-wall installation.
What is the Unify
®
intelligent
integration system?
The exclusive Unify
®
intelligent integration system provides significantly easier setup
and use – with the ability to easily add and control components such as a cable set-
top box, a 3D Blu-ray Disc
or a Blu-ray Disc player. It also configures the Bose
®
universal remote to control nearly any attached entertainment source. The result is a
system that is customized for the consumer, yet is as easy to use as if it were fully
integrated.
Is the Lifestyle
®
135 home
entertainment system compatible
with 3D video sources?
Yes. The Lifestyle
®
135 home entertainment system is fully 3D video-compatible.
Initial production systems may require a software update to enable 3D compatibility.
The software update is available free-of-charge from Bose.
Can the Lifestyle
®
135 home
entertainment system upscale
video?
Yes. The Lifestyle
®
135 home entertainment system can upscale video signals up to
1080p.
