Problem What to do
Speaker will not turn on
(AC power)
Make sure your system is connected to a working AC (mains) outlet.
Make sure you are using the Bose power supply that shipped with your speaker, or a Bose accessory
charger designed for the Soundlink
®
mini speaker.

Speaker will not turn on
(battery power)
• Battery may be in protection mode or discharged. Connect to working AC outlet to restore the battery to
operational mode.
Paired Bluetooth device will not
connect to the speaker
If your device requires a passcode, make sure the one you entered is correct.
Make sure Bluetooth functionality is turned on or enabled on your source device.
• Your Bluetooth device may be out of range—try moving it closer to the speaker.
• If possible, turn off all other nearby Bluetooth devices or disable their Bluetooth functionality.
• Reset the speaker. Press the Mute button for ten seconds, until the indicators briey ash. Your Bluetooth
device is disconnected and the SoundLink
®
Mini speaker turns off. Press the Power button to turn the
speaker back on, and reconnect.
Clear the speaker memory (see “Clearing memory” on page 15). Pair the Bluetooth device and the
speaker again.
• Turn the power off and back on, and reconnect.
